Ok, yeah, I didn't really like this one. I didn't hate it, but I honestly wondered if it would be a DNF. Then I saw I was at 75% and figured I could deal with the rest. It was just meh for me. The story seemed to jump around. I didn't feel a connection between the three people who were supposed to be so madly in love. I didn't get why she ran away. I mean I understood it in a superficial sense, but seriously? She's best friends with one of the boys' sisters and in THREE YEARS she didn't get the message that the boys wanted her back? I also didn't get that she was allegedly a huge klutz (or why it even mattered) but she could so easily run from them. I didn't get the whole introduction of Leila the "enemy" and her posse when it happened. And Leila's little "intervention" or whatever you want to call it, letting Cade in on what Jaycee had planned and the resulting scene, was very anticlimactic. So Gray beat up a guy. And then they had sex. Whoopee. And I didn't even think the sex was all that hot. With two guys and girl (and the two guys into each other), it should have been smoking, but I guess since I didn't really care about the characters (the author really gave me no reason to), I didn't care about their sex either. I mean, when Gray let Cade screw him, that should have felt momentous and touching (and sexy), but I just didn't care. And I thought there were way too many characters and side drama, and not a lot of backstory. We'd get it in pieces and that's part of what felt disjointed. I'm not likely to continue this series. I'm mildly interested in what Shannon's problem is, but not enough to read another one like this.Product details

I like that this book wasn't a typical guys want girl and they get her. I like the M/M twist in it. Keep up the good work, can't wait for the next one!!
I just loved, loved, loved this book. I am so in love with menage books and if they have the mmf dynamics in it, its just the cherry on the top for me. This book is funny, sexy and steamy, its sure to put you imagination in overdrive. Its unforgettable.

Sweet Serenity Destined to be Three
Jaycee Dalton could be living a happy, full life with her soul mates Grayson Blakemore and Cade McCoy, but she let her fear get the best of her and she ran. Fear that she could never be with both men the way she wanted and the fear that their feelings for each other would be greater than their love for her. Her running days, however, are coming to an end thanks to a game of truth or dare and some devious maneuvering by her best friends. Gray and Cade have come to claim her once and for all and they are not going to take "no" for an answer. Will Jaycee continue to let her fear come in the way of her happiness, or will she finally have the courage to take a chance on love?
Gray and Cade may be madly in love, but they will never be complete until they have Jaycee back. When her friends concoct a plan to bring the three of them back together, Gray and Cade are all too happy to participate. This time they're pulling out all the stops and they will do whatever it takes to get her back because one thing is certain, they won't be coming home without her.
Listen to me when I tell you, newcomer Mia Ashlinn can bring it! Destined to be Three was one of the hottest books I have read in quite a while, but it was more than just the heat level that had me loving this book. It was the relationship and interaction between the characters, be it lovers or friends. It was the incredible chemistry between Jaycee, Gray and Cade and it was the depth of love that was so strong, I could practically feel it through the pages. Jaycee was the very definition of a spitfire heroine, but Gray and Cade were more than capable of handling her. They wore their hearts on their sleeves and they had the determination to go after what they wanted- Jaycee. Did I mention they were superbly, insanely delicious? Aside from the love story, this book was fun. Jaycee's friends and their conversations with each other were hysterical. I loved every moment they were together. The only thing I didn't like about this book was the fantasy scenes. It got a little confusing trying to figure out what was happening and what were daydreams. That being said, Destined to be Three was a thoroughly enjoyable read and Ashlinn has gained herself a fan in me. I am certain you will be a fan, too.

No, just no.
The story begins 3 years after an incident with Cade, Gray & Jaycee which is never fully explained. Then the plot bounces around from there. The story worsens as each character behaves childishly.
I'm just glad the book is over and that I didn't buy the other books in this series. I will be avoiding this author. I recommend others do too.
From start to finish. Loved it! Non stop action with laughter thrown in. Can't wait to read the next one.
I really enjoyed this one. In fact I stayed up late reading because I couldn't put it down. Jaycee, Cade, and Gade were hysterical, and couldn't seem to get it all together. The scene with Ethan was by far my favorite EVER, though their proposal was a close second. There were a lot of unique secondary characters, that made the whole fictional world seem more real. The sexual tension was intense, and the sex scenes were HOT!
If I would have any critque it would only be that a few of the transition scenes where we get a glimpse into the past were rough. I found myself a little confused, and having to back up a few paragraphs to make sure I knew where I was. Otherwise the flow and pace of the story was perfect!
I'm already reading the second book, and can't wait to see all of these great characters share their stories!
